January 11th > San Diego Bay > Shelter Island, Outboard Boating Club

Spotted Bay Bass only, standard weight

** February 8th > Long Beach Inside > South Shores Launch Ramp

All 3 species standard weight, inside of Breakwall is open to fish, southern boundary is the bottom end of the Breakwall to the Alamitos Jetty. Alamitos Bay is open to fish


February 22nd > Take a Vet Fishing Charity Tournament

Calico Bass only, Scripps Pier to Mexico border

All 3 species standard weight

May 2nd > Long Beach > South Shores Launch Ramp

Calico Bass only, Torrance Beach to Newport Pier

June 6 / 7 > 2-Day Championship > South Shores Launch Ramp


Day One > Outside > Calico and Sandbass only with the Breakwall ok to fish > Point Fermin to Newport Pier


Day Two > Inside > All 3 species standard weight, inside of Breakwall will be off limits > All legal areas of LA / LB / Alamitos and Huntington Harbor(s) are open to fish

All events including both days of the Championship will run from 6 a.m. until 3 p.m.


** These events indicate if you weigh at least one of each species, you will receive an extra 5 “Year End” bonus points for Championship qualifying and not for “day-of” event placing

ROOKIE / FAMILY DIVISION

Basic Entry > $100.00

Big Bass Option > $25.00 Pays Top 3 Biggest Bass

TOP 2 Option > $25.00 Pays Top 2 spots

ALL IN > $150.00 Per 2 person Team

*There is a 1x per season, PER PERSON $40.00 Event / Insurance fee due at your first event

2-Day Championship

We will take the top 15 Masters and top 12 Rookie / Family teams.

A teams 4 best of 5 events will count for Year End Championship Qualifying (you will have one throw away if you fish all 5 events) .

AOY Titles will take 5 events worth of points for Year End AOY point total

Ties in Year End Point Totals count as ONE PLACE

Masters fish against Masters

Rookie / Family fish against Rookie / Family

If you Qualify for the Championship, you pay NO BASIC ENTRY FEE

Options will be for a 2 day total

Both Divisions will be $100.00 per Option for each, Big Bass (Top 3) and Top 2 

ALL IN > $200 per Team covers both days of Championship ( we pay for a 2 day total and not for each day )

Besides a raffled 115 4-Stroke Mercury outboard motor and other great product, there will be $2,000.00 Mercury cash and Option money up for grabs!

Each team will receive ONE raffle ticket for each event fished


If a team pre-pays the basic entry for all 5 events, they will receive 2 extra raffle tickets for a total of 7 tickets (AOY teams are exempt from this offer but will still receive 5 tickets)

Each teams is limited to one per incentive offer


Re-Power with a new 90hp  or larger Mercury Outboard and get 5 raffle tickets (MSO must have a team members personal name noted)

We will keep a log of purchases / quotes per team for earned raffle tickets. You may bring receipts or quotes to event check-ins for raffle ticket credit


* You must qualify and participate both days in the Championship to be eligible for raffle tickets to win the Motor (motor winners are responsible for tax and freight)

Each person needs to fill out a Waiver before their first event to be fished.

You may pre-register for any of the events. Do not forget to include the 1x PER PERSON per season Event / Insurance fee of $40 (this is mandatory whether you fish one or all of the SBS events). Please include a check with correct amount with registration form. Check must be received BEFORE the tournament date!
