January 16 > Newport Harbor
Newport Dunes, 6 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Spotties only, standard weight. All Harbors and Bays are open to fish
February 20 > San Diego Bay
Outboard Boating Club, 6 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Spotties only, standard weight. All Harbors are open to fish
March 27 > Long Beach
Launch Ramp TBD, 6 a.m. - 2 p.m.
No Coastal Boundaries, Only Catalina Island is open to fish as well as all coastal Harbors and Bays. All 3 species standard weight, Spotties only 2x the weight
April 24 > Mission Bay
Dana Landing 6 a.m. - 2 p.m.
No Coastal Boundaries (Mexico is off limits), SD Bay is also open to fish. All 3 species standard weight, Spotties only 2x the weight
May 15 > Long Beach
Launch Ramp TBD, 6 a.m. - 2 p.m.
No Coastal Boundaries, ALL Islands and Harbors are open to fish. All 3 species standard weight, Spotties only 2x the weight
June 12 / 13 > San Diego
Launch Ramp TBD
Day One no coastal boundaries, all 3 species standard weight
Day Two Spotted Bay Bass only, standard weight, all Harbors are open to fish
We will raffle off the Mercury 115 4-Stroke more as well as a bunch of other sponsor product. Congrats to all the Championship qualifying teams!
2027 ENTRIES / OPTIONS
Basic Entry > $200.00
Big Bass Option > $50.00 Pays Top 3 Biggest Bass
TOP 2 Option > $50.00 Pays Top 2 spots
ALL IN > $300.00 Per 2 person Team
*There is a 1x per season, PER PERSON $50.00 Event / Insurance fee due at your first event
2 - Day Championship
We will take the top 50% of average seasonal event participation (minimum of 15 teams)
A team that wins an event automatically qualifies for the Championship. This will only bump a team into the Championship if they do not qualify points wise.
YOU MUST FISH ALL 5 EVENTS TO QUALIFY FOR THE CHAMPIONSHIP!
You will be allowed 1 throw out per event season (you must pay the basic entry as a "buy-in") so 4 events points will be counted towards Championship qualifying
AOY Titles will take 5 events worth of points for Year End AOY point total. If a tie in points for AOY occur, a season total weight (5 events) will decide the AOY winning team
Ties in Year End Point Totals count as ONE PLACE for Championship qualifying.
There will be a $100 per team cost to fish the Championship
Options will be $50.00 per Option for each, Big Bass (Top 3) and Top 2 per day
ALL IN > $300 per Team covers both days of Championship.
2027 Championship Raffle incentives
Each team will receive ONE raffle ticket for each event fished
If a team pre-pays the basic entry for all 5 events, they will receive 2 extra raffle tickets for a total of 7 tickets (AOY teams are exempt from this offer but will still receive 5 tickets)
Sponsor support incentives for EXTRA raffle tickets (per team)
Each team is limited to one per incentive offer
Re-Power with a new 90hp or larger Mercury Outboard and get 5 additional raffle tickets (MSO must have a team members personal name noted)
$400 or more purchase from Daiwa, AFTCO, West Coast Trailers gets you 2 tickets
$100 or more purchase from Daiwa, Costa, Big Hammer, AFTCO, Owner Hooks gets you one extra raffle ticket
Book a Little G charter and get 3 extra tickets
Any trailer work from West Coast Trailers gets you 2 extra raffle tickets. Buy a new trailer and get 5 extra tickets
REMEMBER > YOU MUST PROVIDE A LEGITIMATE RECEIPT for each purchase or WRITTEN QUOTE dated AFTER January 1st, 2025 and BEFORE the 2025 2-Day Championships
We will keep a log of purchases / quotes per team for earned raffle tickets. You may bring receipts or quotes to event check-ins for raffle ticket credit
